Itineraries & Activities

Itinerary arrival and departure times are subject to change due to climate conditions and/or government regulations. We will notify you if applicable. Banana Travel reserves the right to cancel, alter, advance, postpone, or substitute any scheduled itinerary or activities at its sole discretion, without liability for any resulting losses.

All travel packs include a variety of activities. If any scheduled activity is unavailable or weather conditions are unfavorable, Banana Travel will provide an alternative activity. Guests may choose not to participate in certain activities, and staff will remain with them until the group reunites. There are no refunds for activities, but guests will be offered side activities.

Banana Travel is not responsible for incidents such as airline cancellations, re-routings, disruptions in services, or lost luggage.

No guest will be allowed to participate unless all information is provided. Banana Travel reserves the right to terminate participation if behavior is detrimental to staff or other guests.

Travel documents, such as air tickets, passport information, and medical insurance, are the guest’s responsibility. It is also the guest’s responsibility to obtain necessary visas and health documents and comply with all customs requirements. Guests may be denied participation without required documents, and Banana Travel is not liable for such denial.

Health and Medical Requirements

Guests must report in writing any physical or mental conditions that may require medical attention during the trip, as well as any food allergies or dietary restrictions that need to be considered during meal preparation.

Health Insurance Requirements

  • Travel health insurance is not mandatory for entry into Colombia but is recommended to cover medical emergencies.
  • If applying for long-term visas (e.g., retirement or work), proof of health insurance may be required.

COVID-19 Considerations

  • Currently, there are no specific COVID-19 insurance requirements for tourists in Colombia, but it is advisable to check for updates as policies may change.
